Make it Meme is an online multiplayer party game where you create and share memes with your friends. Each round, players get a template and have to come up with the funniest caption. Then everyone votes on their favorites, and the most entertaining memes score the most points. It's the perfect game for game nights, streams, or just having fun with friends!

While you can play Make it Meme without an account, registering unlocks many fun features! Without an account, you won't be able to chat in public lobbies, add friends, track your stats, earn achievements, or create custom meme templates and packs. Registration is free and only takes a minute - why miss out on all the fun?

Once per round, you can award your Meme Buddy to any meme you think will score well. You'll receive half of the points that meme earns as a bonus - but watch out, this also applies to minus points! Additionally, the meme you picked gets a 10-point bonus for each Meme Buddy it received. Pro tip: Don't forget to use your Buddy each round, it's a great way to earn extra points even if your own meme isn't the strongest!

If we allowed Meme Buddy awards at the end of voting, everyone would just pick the highest-scoring meme - that's no fun! By making you choose during the voting phase, there's some exciting luck involved, and it keeps things more interesting. It also ensures a fairer distribution of Meme Buddies across all players.

The scoring in Make it Meme is all about those sweet upvotes! If everyone in the game upvotes your meme, you'll score a perfect 1000 points. Each downvote reduces your score proportionally, and yes, you can even get negative points if people really don't like your meme (ouch!). A "meh" vote doesn't affect your score. Remember the Meme Buddy bonuses: you get 10 points for each Buddy your meme receives, and if you awarded your Buddy wisely, you'll get half of that meme's final score!

Currently, Make it Meme is available as a browser game on both desktop and mobile devices. But good news - we're working on a dedicated mobile app to make your meme-creating experience even better! Stay tuned to our social media channels for updates.

Make it Meme offers four different ways to play: Normal mode is our classic experience where you get random templates and create your best memes. In Topics mode, each round has a specific theme to guide your creativity. Same Meme mode gives everyone the same template, so it's all about who can come up with the most creative caption. And if you just want to chill and practice your meme skills, try Relaxed mode where there are no points - just pure fun!

Family-Friendly Mode is our content filter that keeps things clean and fun for everyone. It automatically filters all text content in real-time to keep things clean. In public lobbies, we use a vote-kick system where players can start a vote to remove disruptive players. Additionally, the lobby leader can kick players directly to maintain a pleasant gaming environment.

Creating a private lobby is super easy! Just click "Private Game" on the start page and you'll get your own lobby where you can play with friends. You can customize various settings like the maximum number of players (up to 30), caption time (30-300 seconds), and even enable or disable the Family-Friendly Mode. It's the perfect way to set up your own meme party!

Public lobbies can hold up to 15 players, while private lobbies can be expanded to host up to 30 players. The voting time automatically adjusts based on the number of players to ensure everyone has enough time to check out all the memes.

Yes! The default game runs for 3 rounds with 90 seconds caption time each, but in private lobbies, you can customize the caption time from 30 to 300 seconds. Remember that the actual round length will be longer to include voting time, which scales with the number of players to keep things fair and fun.

We offer three Memeberships: Plus, Premium, and Elite. Plus gives you the basics like ad-free gaming, Premium adds custom templates, and Elite is packed with all the cool features for the true meme lords out there. Check out our [Pricing Page] to see all features the current prices!

Each plan builds on the previous one with more features. The Plus plan gives you an ad-free experience, extended profile customization options, and unlimited meme saving. Premium adds the ability to create custom templates and meme packs, which you can share with up to 10 friends. Elite takes it to the next level by letting you create ad-free lobbies and share your meme packs with up to 100 friends! Perfect for smaller communities or streamers who want to create their own meme universe.

You can view and manage your subscription any time in your account settings. Currently, if you want to switch between plans, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and wait until it expires before subscribing to a different plan. But don't worry - we're working on making plan switching easier.

When your subscription expires, your custom meme packs will be locked - you won't be able to play or edit them until you renew your subscription. If you don't use your account for an extended period, we may eventually delete inactive content to keep our servers tidy. The best way to keep your creative content safe is to maintain an active subscription.

We're currently working on making plan switching smoother. For now, if you want to change plans, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and wait until it expires before subscribing to a different plan. Your content will stay safe during this transition period.

If you have a Premium or Elite Memebership, you can upload your own templates in the Meme Studio! We accept most common image formats and video formats. Just make sure your content follows our Terms of Service - keep it fun and friendly, no NSFW stuff, violence, or copyright issues allowed!

We've got two places where your memes live: Templates you upload will be stored in your Meme Studio, where you can manage them anytime. Memes you save during gameplay will appear in your personal Meme Collection on your profile. Don't worry - your Meme Collection is private and only visible to you.

We support all common image and video formats. Images should be under 10MB, and videos under 100MB. Whether it's a classic JPG, a GIF (or a "JIF"), or even a short video clip - if it makes for a good meme, we'll take it!

This means no NSFW content, violence, hate speech, or content that violates someone's personal rights or copyright. Nope! Banned players can't join any lobbies, so you don't need to worry about that. We handle the blocking at the system level to keep your games trouble-free.

The Family-Friendly Mode automatically filters all text content in real-time, including chat messages, usernames, and meme captions. While we currently don't have a mute function, you can always kick disruptive players or report them if they're breaking our community guidelines.

We process payments through Paddle and accept most common payment methods. You can pay with any major credit or debit card (like Visa, Mastercard, or American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay (in Safari), or Google Pay (in Chrome). The charge will show up as "PADDLE*MAKEITMEME" or similar on your statement.

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period - monthly for monthly subscriptions, yearly for yearly subscriptions. Don't worry though, you can cancel anytime! Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Either head to your Account Settings where you can manage your subscription, or use the link in your confirmation email from Paddle. After canceling, you'll keep all premium features until the end of your current billing period. Your account will stay active after that, just without the premium perks.

All premium features are activated immediately after purchase. Since our memeberships are digital products that you get instant access to, refunds typically aren't available once you've started using the features. Make sure to check out all the features before subscribing!
